Legal Terms & Contractor Agreement

Terms of Service

Last Updated: September 2026. Please read these terms carefully before utilizing our website, requesting estimates, or scheduling roofing services.

Preliminary Estimates Notice

Information and estimates submitted through this website represent preliminary ballpark assessments for scheduling convenience. A binding home improvement contract is established only after an in-person physical roof inspection and execution of a formal written agreement signed by both parties.

01 Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the website of Lift Roofing ("Lift Roofing," "we," "us," or "our") at https://liftgroupinc.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this website.

02 Estimates, Inquiries & Contract Formation

2.1 Non-Binding Inquiries: Any cost ranges, preliminary numbers, or estimate scopes discussed online or over the telephone are non-binding approximations designed to assist with scheduling and scope evaluation.

2.2 Mandatory In-Person Physical Inspection: Every roof structure possesses unique pitch, decking, ventilation, and flashing conditions. Lift Roofing will not issue a firm, binding contract price without performing an in-person physical site assessment by an authorized team member.

2.3 Formal Written Contract Required: All construction, roof replacement, repair, and exterior services are governed strictly by a separate, formal written Home Improvement Agreement executed by both property owner and Lift Roofing in full compliance with applicable New York and New Jersey contractor licensing and consumer protection laws.

2.4 Latent & Concealed Substrate Conditions: Surface and drone evaluations cannot detect hidden structural deterioration beneath existing roof layers (such as decayed plywood decking, rotted rafters, or compromised structural framing). Any necessary repairs for concealed defects discovered during tear-off will be documented and handled through written change orders.

03 Intellectual Property Rights

All materials on this website—including but not limited to brand marks, logos, project photography, drone footage, layout designs, and text—are the exclusive intellectual property of Lift Roofing. You may not copy, scrape, reproduce, or commercially distribute any website content without prior written permission from Lift Roofing.

04 User Conduct & Submissions

When using our contact and estimate forms, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, truthful contact and property details.
  • Submit inquiries only for properties you own or have explicit authorization to represent.
  • Refrain from submitting automated spam, malicious code, or unsolicited commercial promotions.

05 Warranties & Workmanship Scope

This website and its informational content are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. Manufacturer warranties on roofing shingles, commercial membranes, and ventilation products are provided directly by their respective manufacturers. Lift Roofing's craftsmanship warranty is specified and secured solely within the executed written project agreement.

06 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lift Roofing and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, this website or reliance on any general information contained herein.

07 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York and the State of New Jersey, without giving effect to any conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding relating to website use shall be instituted in the state or federal courts located in Richmond County, New York.
